Eat & Drink

At Bairro Alto Hotel, we have a wide range of gastronomic offers to make your stay even more remarkable and unforgettable. See below all our spaces.

BAHR & Terrace

BAHR, located on the 5th floor, has a terrace with a fabulous view of the River Tagus and a bar with a counter – a tribute to the bohemian manifesto that pays homage to the artists who left their mark on the city in the 19th century. Open to everyone – guests and non-guests alike – we welcome visitors to a modern and informal atmosphere where the kitchen plays the starring role

The Terrace’s role is complementary to the BAHR. Open all day to guests and non-guests, it has its own light all-day dining menu. With a stunning view of the river and the city’s rooftops, it is the perfect spot to relax during the day, enjoy the sunset, or just sit back and have a drink.

Rooftop

Located on the top floor of the hotel, the rooftop offers an exceptional view of the Tagus River, a view of Lisbon rooftops and an atmosphere conducive to relaxation in a privileged setting. It offers light meals during the day in a area that complements your room.

The Patisserie

The Patisserie on the ground floor, with an unobstructed view to the Luís de Camões square, offers a daily selection of typically Portuguese sweet and savoury pastries freshly made in the hotel throughout the day.

Mezzanine

A space both intimate and inviting, the Mezzanine on the ground floor is the hotel's premier gathering spot. At A Pastelaria until 5.30pm you can order from its delicious small bites, hold an informal business meeting, read a book or simply soak up the mellow, easy-going atmosphere. Then between 5.30pm and midnight, the Mezzanine is the ideal place to mingle, offering a choice of light meals.

18.68 Cocktail Bar

It is in the old original premises of the oldest volunteer fire station in Portugal – in Largo Barão de Quintela - that we find 18.68 Cocktail Bar. An eclectic space with a unique cocktail menu accompanied by a gastronomic menu, ideal for sharing, and to enjoy from the end of the afternoon.
