Capon soup with peeled and dried chestnuts and “Carolino” rice, red-wine cooked octopus with pumpkin and turnip green puree and dry-salted yellow cod cookies and boiled cod with potatoes, cabbage, chickpeas and hardboiled eggs are some of the specialties that chef Vasco Lello has prepared for Christmas Eve.
On the 25th of December, at lunch, you can try Flaked skate with sautéed dogfish, the Christmas Turkey.. .roasted and with chestnut, mushrooms and Port wine filling and a watercress salad and roasted kid with gizzard and liver rice, roasted potatoes and turnip greens
